Riley, James Whitcomb,Hayes Lithographing Co. Good. Hardcover, paper covered boards. 7" x 5 1/4", 12 pages, pictorial endpapers. Not dated, believe to be circa late 1800's. Decorative covers show edge wear/soiling, previous owners name on ffep.This is a good example of what the Victorians used before Greeting cards became commonplace - the Greeting Book, usually thin books full of gorgeous illustrations and charming poetry. A tradition that survived well into the 20th century. This is one such, and is unpaginated with about 12 pages.
