Right now, we are living in turbulent times. There are days when I just want to be angry and express that, but I know that I can turn that anger inwards and use that as fuel to reignite my passion for using words as a method of healing. So, I continue to write.
The Journey to Peace is the book we need right now. It is not about finding peace at the mountains or while hiking through the rainforest, it is about finding peace even in the midst of storms. This is certainly a book that every woman of every ethnicity, age, race, or religion can read and heal through. I return to those pages whenever I need to be reminded. Right now, with the world seemingly on fire, I will surely return to those pages now. Healing the Womb; A Journey to Wellness and Wholeness was written in the aftermath of my recovery from traumatic womb experience. My womb attacked me and brought me to the edge of death. This book was written for women who themselves have encountered womb trauma due to difficult pregnancies, excruciating menstrual cycles, rape, abuse, and hysterectomies – amongst other things. This book gives real and practical advice for women who are still suffering from events that they need to heal from. |
